Twilight Beat (Part II)

Continuing from the previous post, we shall make some modifications to the deck so as to retain its competitive edge in the current metagame.

Instead of aiming to beat Undead Synchro like in the previous
version, the new Twilight Beat is aimed to beat Dimensional Eatos.

The monster line-up remains the same, with only a minor change of Paladin of the Cursed Dragon to Crusader of Endymion. The original purpose of Paladin of the Cursed Dragon is to slow down Undead Synchro by special summoning your opponent’s Mezuki that was destroyed by battle onto your field. Crusader of Endymion on the other hand, provides access to Arcanite Magician, giving us more removal options.

However, the real power lies within the spells line-up. Allure of Darkness is removed and replaced with Pot of Avarice and Giant Trunade. Though the deck lost its drawing power, Pot of Avarice gave the ability to refill the deck with Honest and Kalut. Giant Trunade wins games against Dimensional Eatos; taking out Dimension Fissure, Macro Cosmos and Skill Drain without triggering Starlight Road.

Additionally, the inclusion of Prohibition locks down Starlight Road as well, ensuring that your Icarus Attack will be able to trade for 2 cards or a draw off Dark Bribe.

Enemy Controller works as additional Book of Moon, except that it punishes Beast King Barbaros without the risk of pumping the attack to 3000.

Although the deck may be originally built to beat Undead Synchro, but
with just a few modifications to the Spells and Traps line-up, Twilight
Beat can be easily adjusted according to the metagame. Once again, many
